Why I started SIA.
I believe in prevention: children and families should be able to find support before everyday difficulties become bigger problems. That starts with people who know how to listen, understand what is happening and respond thoughtfully.
Through my work with Adiona, the Dutch professional organisation for child, youth and family coaches, I am connected to a network of 800 coaches with successful practices. I see the value of practical knowledge, professional exchange and continuing to learn from one another.
With Spaans International Academy, I want to share that knowledge. The academy starts with a child coaching course that combines theory, methods and practical assignments. It is for people who want to develop their work with children and parents, whether in education, their own practice or another supporting role.
Experience behind the academy
Aziza Boujahma, is Executive Director of Adiona. Her background includes youth care, disability services, municipal work and social initiatives. She previously served as director of Steunouder Nederland and worked on the youth participation project Time of Your Life.
SIA is based in Morocco and operates under STE SPAANS SARL. The aim is to make structured learning and practical coaching knowledge accessible, with room for reflection, feedback and professional connection.
